41. Scuba Air Quality, Project AWARE Week 2020, Your Next Dive – Coco View Resort, Roatan

Scuba air quality is imperative in diving. Scuba grade air must adhere to the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) standards. The standard for scuba is Grade E and outlines the limits for contaminants in that air. Ensuring that your air meets these standard uses a three prong approach. The compressor must have routine maintenance, proper filtering and periodic testing.

The third annual Project AWARE week runs from September 19 – 27, 2020. This year PADI has teamed up with Project AWARE to jointly celebrate the power of the global community. This year’s theme is that one person can make a difference. One way to make a difference is to become a PADI Torchbearer. Torchbearers are committed to the health of the planet and taking steps to heal the environment. Become a PADI Torchbearer and Seek Adventure, Save the Ocean.
